Shipping and Returns
When you buy with Pax Romana your orders are always handled by our very own white-glove shipping department. We understand that organising your own shipping when you purchase Antiquities can be an unnecessary stress. This is why we have invested in our shipping and returns policy.
By making connections with local and global high quality couriers, we believe we offer you an unbeatable service. Our main shipping partners are DHL-Express and Deutsche Post, and we also use a local south London expert in packing for large and particularly fragile items. We will always endeavour to charge you a low rate, whilst ensuring your antiquities are as safely packed as possible.
Our aim is to ship your auction wins and other purchases to you within three days of your payment. However, please note that when we have a large auction or multiple auctions this is not always possible. Especially due to COVID-19 the delivery of items may take longer than usual. This is because our team is working in lower numbers and globally there are delays.

Note on Brexit
As you may have known, just before Christmas we were faced with DHL closing their shipping via road between the UK and Europe. This meant that we were unable to ship the vast majority of our mainland European orders. We are extremely sorry for this and hope you can understand that this is outside of our control but at the courier level due to government policies. Any parcels that could not be shipped in the week up to Christmas will be shipped now in early January.
However, we want to note that we are unfortunately expecting delays throughout January to European shipping as the UK navigates the new trade and Brexit rulings. With auction purchases we can expect up to 2 weeks of delay to shipments as we clear a backlog of packages and get used to a longer shipping process for each European parcel. Pleased be aware that we are also anticipating that European customers may have import taxes to pay. Please get in touch if you have any questions about your specific country and the taxes that are expected. We do wish to assure that our team is working as hard as possible and are only an email away should you need assistance.
